Daniel is the only kid I know who gets visibly excited at the idea of mathematics. When we introduced the Math Quiz project to the class, he was thrilled to build it. We had a fun time, and Daniel enjoyed the lesson.
However, he surprised me a few weeks later when he pulled up the Math Quiz sandbox again. Not only did it have a new coat of paint with snazzy fonts and images, he also implemented multiplication and subtraction problems to the quiz. There is nothing cooler than seeing a student use the knowledge you taught to create something on their own, and I can’t wait to see what else Daniel comes up with!
